Vodka Sauce Pasta December 2014 Winner

Ingredients

  • 2 shallots (chopped)
  • 2 Tbs butter
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan
  • 2 Tbs vodka
  • pasta of choice

Directions

In a skillet, cook chopped shallots with butter over medium heat for 2 minutes. Add heavy cream, marinara and red pepper flakes. Heat thoroughly. Stir in parmesan and vodka. Season with salt. Toss with pasta of choice.
